Adrian - The Singer


Adrian Luces was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad, and emigrated to Canada at the age of nine. Following his elementary and secondary schooling at a specialised music focused school in Toronto, Adrian pursued his musical studies by attending the renowned jazz and pop school, Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. He later transferred to, and received a degree in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston.


A versatile singer, Adrian has participated in performances on television and stages around the world ranging from classical, opera and Broadway, to jazz, pop and rock, although his focus and strength lies in jazz, inspirational pop, and love ballads.


With his unique and exotic look which is a result of his incredibly diverse ethnic background which includes Spanish, French, Portuguese, South American aboriginal, Jewish, East Indian, and North African, Adrian has a unique and special appeal to his audiences.


When watching Adrian perform, one is captivated. When listening to him, one can't help but appreciate his impeccable diction, artistry and phrasing. In addition, the various songs that Adrian has written to date, which include the title song from the animated feature film, " Hammer Boy" and the his soon to be released song, "Healing Hands, Changing Lives" written with Patti Jannetta and Danny Turco and performed by some of Toronto's and Canada's most esteemed singers, including Justin Hines, jackie Richardson, Alana Bridgewater, Rik Emmett, Ashley MacIsaac, and Michael Burgess, demonstrates an impressive songwriting ability to complement his many other talents.
